VIDEO STORIES AND VIDEO PAPERS

We have a limited supply of FREE copies of the first video stories and video papers produced by teachers in the project.

A Thinking Approach to Spelling by Dan Sutch

Dan's story tells how on the project he learned more about language (and especially English morphology) and began to use Word Root with his Year 6 class. The experience led to some radical thinking about teaching and learning spelling.

Narratives of Learning: developing tools for "thinking together" about mathematics by Simon Mills

Simon's story is about working with his Year 4 class. He tells how using Excel and an InterActive white board led to more interaction of all kinds and to the learners taking him to exciting places he had not planned for.

Dan and Simon are both primary teachers who worked with the subject teams and enrolled in the Graduate School's Masters programme Education, Technology and Society.

They were enthusiastic about the potential of videopapers and these are their first attempts at this new form of publishing.

It's about InterActive Learning of Mathematics by Federica Olivero, Rosamund Sutherland and Peter John

This videopapr was created by members of the InterActive team and uses video clips from the work done by the Maths Subject Design Team.
